That's right. We both have 100% Polish moms. Wink

We both used to speak Polish, as kids, and un-learned it later on in life.

LOL. I took Spanish in middle/high school. I remember a few phrases but the rest went out the window.

I "speak" ASL though. Very Happy

Dinny & ARM: My Bachi was 100% Polish & was in the process of teaching us a few words before she passed away. We still don't speak it, but my parents still have an OLD Polish to English dictionary she gave us years ago. It's very cool that you can understand it. Smile

I learned Spanish in school, but I can only remember a little bit (although more and more if I start using it) but I mostly use it to say funny things. I also know a bit of German and some Japanese I gleaned from watching anime.
However, I'm only fluent in English and 1337.

Star: I always wanted/needed to learn ASL. I work around people who use SL gestures. Damn It, I seriously need to learn it, A-SAP.

Janker: My Friend (Tau) knows Japanese pretty well. She's in the navy, so she taught herself as much as she can, she is also big on Anime.

I don't know why.....I couldn't picture myself calling a grown-ass man.....Papi Chulo, or any other type of Papi, for that matter. It's weird.

I'll just continue calling you Leon, It sounds waaaaaaay better.

Lol! Ask the people around you to teach you sign. Very Happy The one thing about ASL that's really hard for a lot of people to remember is that face & body language is a MUST. If your face (& body) is already extremely expressive (i.e., others can read you like a book), you're already well on your way. Smile

Spoiler:

Also, watch this girl's videos on YouTube. She's amazing.

I am very expressive when holding a conversation, so I guess that's a plus.
Also, I have a pretty good memory (most of the time ) so maybe that would help, as well.

You are really good at that, Star. First, I need to learn how to have small conversations, before I EVEN think about doing/converting it to a song.

I'm not Asian.
All I could find as a translation to that word was literally "Pig" or the more racist version is a slur against Chinese people specifically.

If it helps, Papi dislikes me for the truckloads of money Korea gets from me mass buying their stationery and plastic crap. The very reason North Korea probably has money for nukes and military technology is probably because of the nonstop stream of money they get from... me.

LOL! That would be a good way to start. Wink

Memory is definitely a plus. I once had a person who mistook the lazy way of saying "nice to meet you" in sign for something MUCH dirtier. (The slang sign for "fucking" is similar to "meet you".) Luckily, nobody who knew sign (other than me) saw that or she would've landed herself in hot water with the boss.

That would probably be my downfall, as well. Just like, Arikus, I also took advantage of learning funny/dirty things in spanish. "meet you" is that gesture when you flick your hand under your chin, like saying "F-U"? or is that a different type of SL?
